| Dan and Carole Fernandez |

Update 10 June 2008 Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors, Here is an update on Dan. I did not write sooner as it has been a very busy and challenging time for me! Thank you for also holding me up in prayer as well as Dan. We have felt your steadfast prayers in the spirit! Dan came home from the hospital 10 days ago. He has lost a lot of weight but it will all return. I am taking care that he gets good nutrition. He still gets tired and takes several naps daily. Dan's Gallbladder was attaching to his organs and would eventually have caused infection in his organs! Thank you Jesus that we went to the hospital when we did! He has an eight inch long incision with 15 staples and a drain tube in his side which we hope the Dr. removes today! The Dr. says 6-8 weeks for recovery. from the surgery. His Spirit man is strong and his body is getting stronger every day. Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be wear, and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28,29,31. Praise the Lord, He has not had to take any pain medication or any other medicine since he has been home! He is daily giving attention to and meditating on the words given him by his Physician, Yehovah Rapha, whose word is Medicine and Healing to all of his flesh! My son, attend to my words, incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them and health to al their flesh. proverbs 4:20-22 Dan shall arise with wings of eagles from this attack, stronger, more powerful and more anointed than ever before! I had been staying at my daughter Carrie's because she was placed on Bed-Rest during her last month of pregnancy. I had to leave her and take Dan to the Hospital! Then three days after Dan came home I went back to the same hospital for the night because Carrie (our anointed dancer) was having her baby girl "Destiny" who decided to arrive weeks early! We now have another beautiful girl that I am sure will be another anointed singer! God is Good! I want to thank you for your faithful prayer support! Thank you for your e-mails, and the e-mail prayers which I took to Dan and read to him while he was in the hospital. He was really blessed and of course strengthened by the words of God you sent! Thank you for your hospital visits to show your love and to pray for him, all were a blessing! Thank you for the cards you sent, for your phone calls (even from overseas) at the hospital and at home! We are still receiving calls! Many calls have been from dear friends and ministers we have not seen or spoken with for a long time. Thank You! I thank the Lord for my wonderful family members, sons, daughter and daughter in-law that came to our rescue when needed! I want to thank you for your continued loving prayer support! The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (Capable of producing results!) James 5:16b We Love and Appreciate You! Abundant Blessings, Dan & Carole Fernandez
22 May 2008 Dear Friends & Prayer Partners, Dan Fernandez had to have emergency surgery to remove an inflamed gallbladder. They had to open him up because it was attaching to the colon and his organs were swollen. He had been vomiting off and on for 10 days and he thought he had flu symptoms. I took him to the emergency Tuesday evening and we spent 6 hours before he was diagnosed. They scheduled surgery right away for the next day which was the 22 of May. (Our Anniversary) His bowels need to begin to function so that he can eat and have liquids! They say his white blood cell count is too low. They say they also spotted a small growth on the top of an organ which they will address after he is recovered from this surgery. This is what they say. It may be fact but it is not truth! The word of God is Truth! Jesus bore his infirmities and healing belongs to Dan! He is Dan's Great Physician. He will come forth out of this stronger and more anointed than ever before for this end time harvest! Thank You for your loving support in prayer. Please pray in tongues a lot! Abundant Blessings, Carole Fernandez P.S. If you would like to send a prayer or word to Dan, Please e-mail it and I will copy it and take it to him. (DandCFern@aol.com)

| Jane Fotherby |
|
Here is an update from Val Fotherby (N.E. England) about her daughter Jane who lives in the USA. Jane has been undergoing cancer therapy for more than a year. It is a miracle she has survived. 'David and I are OK - we had a difficult few weeks but things are now settling down and we are getting used to be back home again in Hull. Jane had an excellent report from the oncologist - her blood count (if it's 38 then there are problems) had gone down from 35 three months ago to 27. Again, he told her she was a miracle and should not really be here. But... we know better, Praise God. We do appreciate your concern and support over this long time - you have no idea how much it has meant to us. Bless you - and continue to pray for us'. Blessings Val and David Fotherby |

| Prayer focus: Myanmar and China |
|
Tens of thousands of people lost their lives and many more lost their houses and means of existence during the recent cyclone in Myanmar (Birma) and the earthquake in China. Let's focus our prayers this week on the various relief efforts, that these will effectively reach those in need. Also pray for the (persecuted) Church in these nations, that Christians will rise up to the occasion, minister God's compassion and advance the Kingdom of God.

| Urgent Prayer request for Ramzi and family |
|
Dear Brothers and Sisters, On March 23rd, a Muslim convert (to Christianity 10 years) Ramzi and his family were physically attacked by extended family members due to the conversion of Ramzi's brother Ahmad (converted 2 years ago) and wife (5 months). Ramzi's wife and 9-year old son were beaten and went to hospital for treatment. Ramzi was taken before the Sharia court and was sentenced for a week. He asked to be taken to a hospital but instead he was cuffed and sent to jail. As soon as he arrived in prison he collapsed, was taken to hospital and handcuffed to his bed. The brothers of Ramzi's sister-in-law, not only attacked him and Ahmad, but also KIDNAPPED the sister-in-law. They did not know where she was but suspected she was being forcibly kept at her parent's house.
The father of Ramzi and Ahmed filed a lawsuit against them the same day for renouncing Islam and asked for custody of their four children. Ahmad and his wife were later taken to Sharia court and under duress they said the two Shahadas. Which means they were forced to go back to Islam. Since then, Ramzi was taken to prison and has now been released on a $14,000 bail, pending the Sharia court case which has now been set for Sunday 30th March. If found guilty of apostasy, moreover, Ramzi could face ANY or ALL of the following incredibly severe & unjust punishments which has precedence in other similar cases of apostasy:
1. Ramzi's children could be taken away from him and become under State custody. 2. The marriage will be annulled. 3. He will loose their civil status. 4. Ramzi can be sent to mental hospitals for examination and would be declared insane.
We know that the Jordanian Government is keen to keep up appearances with the US Government. Jordan wishes itself to be seen as an oasis of freedom and democracy. Ramzi has given permission to let his case be known. Pray for these brothers and sisters and their families. Pray for wisdom for those helping to know how best to deal with this case. Pray for the church in Jordan, that it would have boldness and wisdom. For the cause that counts, Marwan and Inge -------------------- He was delivered over to death for our sins and was RAISED TO LIFE for our justification! Romans 4:25 |

| Kettner´s in Spain - Urgent Prayer |
|
Update 28 March 2008
Dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, Most of you received the email I sent a few days ago about our good friend and fellow FGB member, Pastor Kurt Kettner-Borough whose son of 13 years old was suddenly diagnosed a few days ago with lymphoblastic Leukemia T with the added complication of Tumour lysis syndrome which basically is the breaking open of bad cells releasing uric acid, phosphate and other toxic element which are fatal for the kidneys. Much prayer has been offered for his healing over the last few days and the good news is that the TLS responded well to treatment and he is now undergoing chemo therapy. The doctors have been amazed at how well he responded to the TLS treatment, as he was only inches from death a few days ago. Praise the Lord!
I've attached a website for him where you can keep yourselves updated on his progress and also add a message to him if you wish. Please see Kurts email below. Thank you for your prayers for this young man! God Bless Bruce

March 23 Dear Brothers in Christ, Many of you know Kurt and Melanie and their children. Kurt was one of the first pastors to join FGB in Spain when we started about 2 years ago. At this time you know we are under a special anointing of the Lord so please pray for a miracle of the Lord for their son Kyle who has just been diagnosed with cancer. See email below. God Bless Bruce Wick
Dear Friends, We have some very difficult news to communicate. Kyle, our nearly 13 year old son, is in intensive care at the Malaga children and Maternaty hospital. He has been diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia T with an added complication of tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) which basically is the breaking open of bad cells releasing uric acid, phosphate and other toxic element which are fatal for the kidneys. Yesterday he started dialasis and is responding well. The leukemia is acute with a count of 95% white blood cells, which is not able to be treated until the TLS is under control. He already has some damage to the kidneys which apparently is reversible.
We are obviously in terrible shock and hoping to wake up out of this nightmare. At the same time we are finding great comfort and refuge in the Lord and the friends that God has given us over these three years in Spain. We would covet your prayers and will update you on any further news.
We are finding this additionally difficult as we have only recently moved from Torremolinos to Marbella (40 minutes away) and this will be the fifth Sunday of a new church plant in Puerto Banus and area of Marbella. So much adjustment, so many new responsibilities which we are hoping to share with friends along the coast.
Thank you for your love and friendship, we have not been the best letter writers but know that God ha knit our hearts because of His Son Jesus Christ. We are looking at this weekend where we remember His death and resurrection as a special inspiration for the miracle we are asking for. Our love to you, Kurt, Melanie, Kyle and Lauren
